Yakuza Lover, Vol. 6

Today's post is on Yakuza Lover, Vol. 6 by Nozomi Mino. It is 170 pages and is published by Viz Media. The cover has Yuri and Oya on it wrapped in an embrace. As it is the sixth volume in the series, you need to have read the first five volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes mob romances and over the top plot lines. There is mild foul language, sexuality, and mild violence in this manga. The story closely follows Yuri. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Unable to shake off the effects of the aphrodisiac he was drugged with, Oya finds an antidote in a passionate night with Yuri. Later, the Oya syndicate packs the banquet hall to celebrate their underboss’s birthday. When Oya sees how beautiful and nervous Yuri is, he decides he wants her all to himself and proposes a competition! Meanwhile, Jin, a man from Yuri’s past, suddenly appears—and it turns out he’s an organized crime detective!

Review- Oya is drugged from the end of the previous volume and he needs Yuri to help him. So they have sex and after Yuri thinks about much she has grown over the course of their relationship. Before she would have confronted the woman who drugged Oya but now all her attention is on him and his needs. But their time is short and Yuri has to deal with an old friend, who wants to be more. The plot is pretty good in this volume, with Yuri having to fight for her love and learn to blend in more with Oya's men. This is series is fun if you like mafia/mob romances with the drama and ridiculous plots. More drama soon!

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Love of Kill, Vol. 5

Today's manga post is on Love of Kill, Vol. 5 by FE. It is 162 pages long and is published by Yen Press. The cover has Chateau and Ryang-Ha on looking rough. As it is the fifth in the series, you need to have read the first four volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes action series with mysteries at the heart of the story. There is mild foul language, no sex, and action violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close following Chateau and Ryang-Ha mostly. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- After turning himself in to Donny—the man pulling all the strings—Ryang-Ha is forced to confront his murky past. With little chance of escape, his only hope is to sow chaos among Donny's men, presenting the perfect opportunity for Chateau to break in and come to his rescue! But will she make it to Ryang-Ha in time, or will she end up another puppet on Donny's volatile stage?

Review- Ryang-Ha is taken to the mysterious Donny, who seems to known the person who Ryang-Ha got his name from. The group is full of broken and dangerous people and they have questions for both Ryang-Ha and Chateau. Chateau is only getting more confused by Ryang-Ha and his actions, not that he is helping by explaining himself. This volume is mostly action with little plot or character growth but that didn't bother me as I think that this volume is setup for future growth in both plot and character. Chateau and Ryang-Ha are reunited at the end with enemies all around them and the only one they want alive is Chateau. Good hook for the next volume, so I'm looking forward to seeing what is going to happen next.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Spell of Desire, Vol. 3

Today's post is on Spell of Desire, Vol. 3 by Tomu Ohmi. It is 192 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The has Kaotuko and Kanam on it in an embrace. As it is the third in the series,  you need to have read the first two volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes josei, urban fantasy manga. There is no foul language, mild sexuality, no violence. The story is told from third person close mostly following Kaoruko. There be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- When it becomes known that Kaoruko has received the power of the Witch Queen, the Black Witxhes Coven commands Kaoruko to become a Black Witch in to control her rampaging powers. But that means an incubus will take her! Will Kaname be able to help Kaoruko and placate the coven?

Review- This volume is more focused on the relationship between Kaoruko and Kaname. To be a real Black Witch, Kaoruko can't be a virgin but she doesn't want an incubus for her first time and neither does Kaname. So Kaname does what they both want and he goes to her. So now they are lovers and that causes backlash for both. Also Kaoruko thinks like a White Witch and that makes the Black Witches very uncomfortable with her. But she is a natural with magic, so she learns how to act like a Black Witch, even if she still thinks like a White one. More drama has been hinted at and I look forward to seeing it.

I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Perfect World, Vol. 3

Today's manga post is on Perfect World, Vol. 3 by Rie Aruga. It is 176 pages long and is published by Kodansha Comics. As it is the third volume in the series, you need to have read the first two volumes to understand the story. The cover has the two main characters on it. The intended reader is someone who likes adult, realistic love stories. There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of the main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- The Weight of Love
After reuniting at a work party, Tsugumi begins dating Itsuki, her first crush from high school who now uses a wheelchair after having sustained a spinal cord injury. While the two couldn't be more dedicated to one other, they soon find themselves met with adversity from their friends and family. Amidst her parents' disapproval of her relationship with Itsuki, Tsugumi becomes overwhelmed by stress and collapses, fracturing her leg. While her injury leads her to understand more about the challenges o Itsuki's disability firsthand, Itsuki can't help but feel that being with Tsugumi is only doing more harm to her than good. And when complication send Itsuki to the hospital yet again, the two will have to look deep inside themselves to confront what this means for the future of their relationship...

Review- Tsugumi is in the hospital with a broken leg and she gets great insight into the world that Itsuki sees and interacts with. It gives her more empathy for him and they have some great conversations about using a wheelchair. But Itsuki is worried about the future and what Tsugumi may want. Her parents are pushing her to break up with him, his nurse wants her to break up with him, and Itsuki is having doubts about their future. Tsugumi is trying her best but a relationship needs two people to work and Itsuki is stopping. This volume ends with a cliffhanger and I would like more real conversations between them about their needs and wants. But all the drama for the story makes it more interesting.

I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Love of Kill, Vol. 4

Today's manga post is on Love of Kill, Vol. 4 by FE. It is 162 pages long and is published by Yen Press. The cover has Chateau on it with a gun to her head. As it is the fourth volume in the series, you need to have read the first three volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes intense, josei stories with morally gray characters. There is some foul language, no sex, and violence in this manga. The story is told from third person of the different characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

Torn between Ryang-Ha and her loved ones, Chateau starts to collapse under the pressure, longing for an easy way out…

Review- This volume picks up right where the last volume ended with Chateau's boss being stabbed and Ryang-Ha finding him. The volume is a game of cat and mouse with the killers, who want Ryang-Ha, and are willing to do anything to get him. With everything happening, Chateau is under a lot of stress and she is at the end of her rope. But Ryang-Ha is not going to lose her after finding her again. The volume ends with a cliff hanger and I can't wait to see what is going to happen next.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Spell of Desire, Vol. 2

Today's manga post is on Spell of Desire, Vol. 2 by Tomu Ohmi. It is 192 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The cover has the two main characters on it. As it is the second volume in the series, you need to have read the first volume to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes urban fantasy romances. There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of Kaoruko. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- The only thing that can keep Kaoruko's powers in check is a kiss from Kaname, but she can't help but be drawn to him! While Kaname struggles with his own growing attraction to Kaoruko, he suspects that Kaoruko's volatile powers will bring unwanted attention from the Black Witches Coven with dangerous consequences for her!

Review- Kaoruko's powers are just getting stronger and Kaname can't understand why. He is trying to investigate what is going on with her and how he can protect her. But they come to the attention of the Black Witches Coven and they want to know what is going on too. The plot is slowly unfolding and I'm not sure where it is going, other than romance. But that's fine for now, I'm enjoying the characters and seeing how Kaoruko is changing and growing. But more drama soon!

I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Something's Wrong With Us, Vol. 6

Today's manga post is on Something's Wrong With Us, Vol. 6 by Natsumi Andō. It is 160 pages long and is published by Kodansha Comics. The cover has Nao and Tsubaki on it. As it is the sixth volume in the series, you need to have read the first five volumes to understand the plot. There is mild foul language, mild sexuality, and no violence in this manga. The intended reader is someone who likes twisty, thriller romances with morally grey characters. The story is told from third person close of the main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- A New Spark
Nao is more nervous than ever as her body begins to accommodate a new life, so she copes by focusing on her beloved wagashi . She throws herself into making Shimaya’s warabi mochi in order to help Jojima earn back the acclaim for his family’s treasured confection. Meanwhile, Tsubaki senses that Nao is hiding something from him, but decides not to press her about it. When they visit Yuko, Tsubaki lays bare his feelings, and Nao is touched by his sincerity. As the couple grows closer, she thinks she can take a chance on his love, but trouble is never far on the horizon for these two lovers bound by a dark past…

Review- This volume has some real bombshells in it. From Nao being pregnant to who Tsubaki and Nao's real fathers are. There is just to much going on. The grandfather knows that not only is Tsubaki not is his grandson but that he has a granddaughter out there somewhere. Nao is really feeling the pressure now. The mother-in-law is starting to really get crazy and she may try anything to keep her hands on the shop. As the plot goes, it just keeps getting better with very twist. I cannot wait to read the next volume.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Spell of Desire, Vol. 1

Today's manga post is on Spell of Desire, Vol. 1 by Tomu Ohmi. It is 192 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The cover has the two main characters, Kaoruko and Kaname on it. The intended reader is someone who likes josei, romance manga with a urban fantasy setting. There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of Kaoruko. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Kaoruko Mochizuki runs an herb shop in a small seaside town. One day, a mysterious man dressed in black named Kaname Hibiki enters her shop and reveals that Kaoruko is actually a witch. And what’s more, Kaoruko needs Kaname to help control her awakening power!
Among the shocking news that Kaname imparts is that Kaoruko’s mother is still alive and has entrusted Kaoruko with the immense power of the Witch Queen. As long as Kaoruko has that power, she will be the target of humans and demonic spirits alike. Kaname claims to be a “knight” that protects witches, but then he steals a kiss from Kaoruko…!

Review- Kaoruko is running a small herbal shop in a small village until a man comes and tells her that she is a witch and her mother is the black witch queen. For some reason, now Kaoruko's magic is out of control and Kaname has come to help her. That is the set-up for the story. This is going to be a very heavy romance story and I'm fine with that. I hope that we get more world building in the next volume. I want to know why Kaoruko's magic is getting out of control now and why did her mother send Kaname to help her? I am looking forward to the next volume.

I give this manga a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Today's manga post is on An Incurable Case of Love, Vol. 7 by Maki Enjōji. It is 200 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The cover has Nanse and Kairi on it. As it is the seventh in the series, you need to have read the first six volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes mature love stories with a medical twist. There is no language, no sex, and no violence in this volume. The story is told from third person close of characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Nanase became a nurse to chase after Dr. Kairi Tendo. Before Kairi travels abroad to study, the two decide to do the things that lovers do. Their love deepens during their limited time together, but a problem arises concerning Kairi’s succession in his family’s business. What will happen to their romance?

Review- Kairi has decided that he is going to study in America for three years. Nanase decides that she is going to support him and study to become a better nurse herself in Japan. I like how honest they are with each other from what they want to their plans for the future. This is has been a adult romance with two characters who learn and grown over the course of the series. The roamnce in the story was a vehicle for the character growth, as they grew together both Nanase and Kairi were forced to face themselves and their faults. This was a very good series and I would like to read from Maki Enjōji.

I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Knight of the Ice, Vol. 6

Today's manga post is on Knight of the Ice, Vol. 6 by Yayoi Ogawa. It is 176 pages long and is published by Kodansha Comics. The cover has Kokoro in a new skating outfit. As it is the sixth volume in the series, you need to have read the first five volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who is interested in sports love stories. There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this series. The story is told from third person close of the main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- EASIER SAID THAN DONE
Thanks to a magical last-minute kiss with Chitose, Kokoro defends his title as Japan’s National Champion, and afterward, the two of them meet up for a short date to work out their relationship issues. Just as the couple gets a moment to catch their breath, Team Kokoro sets off for both the Four Continents Championships and Worlds. But instead of being focused on the ice, Kokoro’s focus is on Louis and Kyle…after he catches them in an intimate moment! Meanwhile, Chitose finds herself still worried over Kokoro’s rumored fiancée… With all these new developments, will the Japanese skaters still be able to secure enough points to guarantee Japan’s entry into the Olympics?

Review- Chitose and Kokoro are getting closer but he is worrying about getting into the Olympics when he gets injured. it causes some friction with other skaters but the important thing is the arranged marriage of Kokoro. This continues to be a fun series. With interesting characters and lots of drama, both on and off the rink, I am having a good time reading this. The art is good, the setting is unique, and the characters are fun. It also has some good representation of LBGT characters. I look forward to the next volume.

I give this volume Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Sweat and Soap, Vol. 9

Today's manga post is on Sweat and Soap, Vol. 9 by Kintetsu Yamada. It is 208 pages long and is published by Kondansha Comics. As it is the ninth in the series, you need to have read the first eight volumes to understand the story. The cover has Asako and Kotaro on it in an emotional scene. The intended reader is someone who likes mature love stories. There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of the main character, Asako. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- COME WHAT MAY
Now that Kotaro and Asako have gotten used to living together, they've started to think about what their future holds. It's an exciting—and somewhat terrifying—prospect, one made all the more difficult when the haunting reappearance of a ghost from Asako's past threatens their happily ever after...

Review- Things are pretty intense in this volume with Asako dealing with her childhood trauma. Of course she is trying to just push it away instead of dealing with it and her relationship with Kotaro is sufferings for it. But Kotaro knows her pretty well now and he is not going to let her go without a fight. I like seeing that Asako deal with the trauma of bullying and how it just does not go away when you become an adult, how it can effect your life. I think that Asako and Kotaro continue to have some of the most realistic relationships I have read, with problems and communication. I like that not everything is just okay, that they have to choose to be in this relationship. I look forward to the next volume.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

An Incurable Case of Love, Vol. 6

Today's manga post is on An Incurable Case of Love, Vol. 6 by Maki Enjōji. It is 200 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The cover has the two main characters on it, Nanase and Kairi. As it is the sixth in the series, you need to have read the first five volumes to understand the story. There is no foul language, mild sexuality, and no violence in this manga. From the back of the manga- Nanase became a nurse to chase after Dr. Kairi Tendo. Now the two are finally starting to act like lovers. They’re busy enjoying blissful days until Kairi’s older sister Ryuko goes missing!

Review- This volume is really about Kairi dealing with his past and how it could affect his future. Nanase has some good moments in this volume with her insight into what Kairi really wants to do and she supports him in making a big decision. I like how much both characters have grown over the course of the series. Nanase is much more comfortable with herself and expressing what she wants. Kairi is more honest with himself and his fears. I look forward to the next volume and seeing how this series will wrap up.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?

Today's manga post is on What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Vol. 5 by MyeongMi Kim (artist) and Jeong Gyeong-yun (original author). It is 272 pages long and is published by Yen Press. The cove is blue with Miso Kim in the center. As it is the fifth volume, you need to have read the first four to understand the story. The story is told from third person following closely to Miso and Youngjun. There is mild foul language, mild sexuality, and no violence in this manga. The intended reader is someone who likes silly, office romances. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Now that Miso has regained her memories, she and Youngjun are closer than ever! But before they can truly start the next chapter of their lives together, Youngjun and his family must first face the immense pain their actions have caused. Will past tragedy continue to tear them apart, or will they finally mend what’s been broken?

Review- All the secrets of the past are out now. Miso remembers what happened and who she was with when she was kidnapped. Miso and Youngjun have a good heart-to-heart and decide to move forward together. Miso's dad is also in this volume and he's pretty funny. He wants to pretend to be a disapproving dad to make Youngjun work harder. It's not over done, so it's funny. But the biggest plot moment for me was when Youngjun and his brother have it out. They clear the air and make peace with each other. The volume ends with Youngjun proposing to Miso and her accepting. I'm look forward to the next volume to see what happens next.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I borrowed this manga from my local library.

Revolutionary Girl Utena: After the Revolution

Today's manga post is on Revolutionary Girl Utena: After the Revolution by Chiho Saitō. It is 200 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. As this takes place after the end of the series, you need to have read the original Revolutionary Girl Utena series to understand the story. The cover has Utena and Anthy on it. The intended reader is someone who has the original series and wants to see what happened to the other characters. There is mild foul language, sexuality, and mild violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of the different characters one per story. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Three short stories set after Utena’s revolution.
Utena has saved Anthy by defeating Akio in the final duel, but in doing so she has vanished from the world. Now the student council members at Ohtori Academy find themselves in their own revolutions.

Review- Utena and Anthy have been freed from World's End, but what about the other duelist? This volume is about what happens to them and how they find their own revolutions. Utena visits them all to help them remember what they were fighting for. The stories take place at different times, some close of the end of the manga and others more than 20 years after. World's End is still influencing the duelist but they don't know how to fight it. So Utena once again must become a prince to save them. This was a good  wrap up to the overall series and a good send off for the secondary characters.

I give this manga a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Vol. 4

Today's post is on What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Vol. 4 by MyeongMi Kim (artist) and GyeongYun Jeong (original_author). It is 288 pages long and is published by Yenn Press. The cover is purple with Youngjun in the center. As it is the fourth in the series, you have to have read the first three volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes rom-coms with a heavy center theme. There is mild foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Miso has reunited with the boy from her dreams, but much to her disappointment, there are still so many questions left unanswered...The more she digs, the more she feels things aren't adding up. Why doesn't Sungyeon remember her? What is the spider that haunts her memories? How did Youngjun get those strange scars on his ankles? And just who in the world is Hyun?

Review- A lot happens in this volume with Miso, Youngjun, and Sungyeon. Miso has doubts about Sungyeon and what he says happened to them. So she begins to push on his memories and he cannot take the pressure. She has also discovered that Youngjun is hiding something from her. The last half of the manga is the secret that he has kept for twenty years. If you have been paying attention then the reveal will not be a shock to the reader but it will be be to Miso as the volume ends in a cliffhanger. I look forward to the next volume and all the drama with the secret being out.

I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I borrowed this manga from my local library.

Sweat and Soap, Vol. 8

Today's manga post is on Sweat and Soap, Vol. 8 by Kintetsu Yamada. It is 192 pages long and is published by Kodansha Comics. The cover has the two main characters dressed for the beach on it. As it is the eighth in the series, you need to have read the first seven volumes to understand the story. There is no foul language, some mild sexuality, and no violence in this series. The story is told from third person close of the two main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- An Odd-yssey for Two
Now that Kotaro and Asako have met each other's families, things should be smooth sailing from here on out- right? But there's still their first company trip as a couple, not to mention some unexpected... gains... of romantic bliss to navigate. With their inner weirdos rearing their freaky heads, can Kotaro and Asako keep their ship afloat?

Review- Another very sweet volume in a sweet series. Asako and Kotaro are getting very comfortable with living together and are coming up on their one year anniversary. They are now both thinking about the future that they both want, like marriage and children. There is some humor with their co-workers, as they tease Kotaro about being weird and making sure that Asako is okay. It is all playing for fun. This series continues to have some of the best communication I have read of any romance manga. I am looking forward to the next volume.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

An Incurable Case of Love, Vol. 5

Today's manga post is on An Incurable Case of Love, Vol. 5 by Maki Enjōji. It is 192 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The cover has the two main characters on it hugging. As it is the fifth in the series, you need to have read to the first four volumes to understand the story. There is no foul language, mild sexuality, and no violence in this manga. The intended reader is someone who likes funny medical romance stories. The story is told from third person close of the main character, Nanase. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Nanase became a nurse to chase after Dr. Kairi Tendo. Now the feelings are mutual, and they’ve become a couple. It seems their love should only deepen from here on out, but when Nanase tries to help a certain someone, it leads to a disruption in their romance!

Review- Nanase is still finding her feet in her new relationship when she helps a young man having a suizure. He then decides that he is going to steal her from Tendo. So Tendo gets to feel a little jelous about Nanase. I liked seeing him, having to deal with other people seeing all the good qualities about Nanase. But trouble is coming in the form of ex, I think. This volume was good, come character development, relationship movement but Nanase still has some issues with herself that she needs to work through. It will be fun to see the drama is coming.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.

Today's manga post is on Love of Kill, Vol 3 by FE. It is 164 pages long and is published by Yen Press. The cover has Ryang-Ha on it looking dangerous. As it is the third volume in the series, you need to have read the first two volumes to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes morally grey character, intense action, and slow burn love stories. There is mild foul language, no sex, and violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of the two main characters. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

However, with Chateau’s whereabouts yet unknown, Hou has all the leverage he needs…

Review- An old co-worker of Ryang-Ha has kidnapped Chateau with the intention of drawing him out to kill them both. But Ryang-Ha is not going to just lie down and die and either is Chateau. Then when Chateau's connection to Ryang-Ha is revealed to her boss, she has to make a deal. Ryang-Ha is willing to make any deals, just as long as he stays close to her. The volume ends with Ryang-Ha being framed for a murder and the real killer is lose and unknown. I look forward to seeing what is going to happen next.

What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Vol. 2 (Volume 2)

Today's manga post is on What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?, Vol. 2 (Volume 2) by MyeongMi Kim (artist)and GyeongYun Jeong (Original Author). It is 240 pages long and is published by Yes Press. The cover has Young Jun on it. As it is the second volume in the series, you need to have read the first volume to understand the story. There no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The intended reader is someone who likes silly rom-coms and office romances. The story is told in mostly from Miso's perspective. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- Winning over his secretary’s affection proves to be a tough task, but Youngjun is not one to give up easily! As he brings to bear everything he has―looks, wealth, and sheer determination―Miso does find herself thinking about her boss more and more...Are his efforts finally starting to pay off?

Review- This series continues to be very funny and fun to read. We do get some hints about Young Jun dark past but no idea about how it may involve Miso. The funny is mostly Young Jun being jealous in a silly way about Miso and her not noticing anything. With his older brother's return, the plot maybe getting more serious but I'm willing to see where we're going from here.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I borrowed this manga from my local library.

From the back of the book- Vice Chairman Youngjun Lee and Secretary Miso Kim have been the star duo of their company for nine years...until Miso suddenly decides to quit! But Youngjun is smart, rich, and used to getting what he wants—and he wants Miso to stay. So when he discovers she’s leaving in order to find a husband, the only logical way to keep her at his side is...offering to marry her?! Too bad she’s just not that into him!

Review- This is a hilarious comedy with romance. Miso Kim just wants to get married, have a child, and never see her boss again. He is very OCD, and as far as he is concerned, their live is perfect. So he shocked when Miso tells him that she is leaving. He decides that he is going to do whatever it takes to keep her with him, even marry her himself! This is a very funny comedy of errors and manners. I would recommend this and if you really like it, you can try the TV show that is based on this.

I give this volume a Five out of Five stars. I borrowed this manga from my local library and I receive nothing for my review.
