Spell of Desire, Vol. 2

Today's manga post is on Spell of Desire, Vol. 2 by Tomu Ohmi. It is 192 pages long and is published by Shojo Beat. The cover has the two main characters on it. As it is the second volume in the series, you need to have read the first volume to understand the story. The intended reader is someone who likes urban fantasy romances. There is no foul language, no sex, and no violence in this manga. The story is told from third person close of Kaoruko. There Be Spoilers Ahead.

From the back of the manga- The only thing that can keep Kaoruko's powers in check is a kiss from Kaname, but she can't help but be drawn to him! While Kaname struggles with his own growing attraction to Kaoruko, he suspects that Kaoruko's volatile powers will bring unwanted attention from the Black Witches Coven with dangerous consequences for her!

Review- Kaoruko's powers are just getting stronger and Kaname can't understand why. He is trying to investigate what is going on with her and how he can protect her. But they come to the attention of the Black Witches Coven and they want to know what is going on too. The plot is slowly unfolding and I'm not sure where it is going, other than romance. But that's fine for now, I'm enjoying the characters and seeing how Kaoruko is changing and growing. But more drama soon!

I give this volume a Four out of Five stars. I get nothing for my review and I bought this manga with my own money.
